Waltonwood Cotswold (a family-owned senior living community) took action to thank local first responders for all they do to support the Charlotte community. The senior living community visited Fire Station 14 and the Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department, Providence Division to deliver a heroes breakfast consisting of breakfast sandwiches, hot coffee, juice and other assorted breakfast treats for the first responders to enjoy before, during or after their shifts. Cotswold residents and associates made the deliveries personally to show their support and say thank you. They encouraged others in the greater community to also pay tribute to first responders.

“Our local first responders are on the frontlines every day, often putting their lives on the line, and we can’t thank them enough for all they do for the community,” said Eric Davis, executive director of Waltonwood Cotswold. “These incredible men and women give so much on a daily basis, and while we can never truly repay them for all they do, it’s our privilege to show them our gratitude. These heroes do so much to take care of us, and now it’s our turn to return the favor.”

Waltonwood Cotswold brought smiles to the faces of the first responders and helped members of the police, fire department and emergency response teams as they complete their challenging daily tasks. The community believes in making a positive impact in the greater community and always looks for ways to show their appreciation for the selfless actions of others around them.
